Abstract
The aim of this study was to investigate the soft tissue sarcoma (STS) in children and adolescents in Russia. We consider both temporal and geographical variations. The Annual reports of Ministry of health and Federal State Statistics Service were used to extract information on cases (1989-2011) and deaths (1999-2011) including gender, age and geographic information. Population data were also obtained and analyses included descriptive summaries, rates, and trend detection tests. The age-adjusted incidence rate of STS in children aged 0-17 years was 7,2 per 1 000 000 individuals per year for 2007 to 2011 (931 incident cases). The highest age-specific incidence 11,3 per 1 000 000 children/year was observed in early childhood (0-4 years). There were more than doubling of average Russian incidence rates in some areas. Between 1989 and 2011, a significant increase in the incidence of STS in children aged 0-14 years was observed (AAPC=3,9% [95%CI, 3,3%-4,4%] with the greatest increase in children aged 0-4 years (AAPC=5,4% [95% CI, 4,76,3]. This trend may have been attributable mainly to advances in diagnostics. Mortality from childhood STS was very high for this period (531 deaths, 4,2 per 1 000 000 children/year) and the greatest death rate (6,9 per 1 000 000 children/year) was observed in children aged 1-4 years. Conclusions: significant temporal and geographical variations of childhood STS were found during the study period. Further study is required to explain higher rate areas.

Abstract
According to the statistical analysis in modern haematooncology there is a tendency of growing number of diseases in a group of lymphoid tissue tumors. Multiple myeloma consist about 1,4% in structure of general case rate of oncological diseases that is approximately 3-4 new cases per every 100 000 people. Owing to increase in total number of the revealed diseases a surgical stage of treatment becomes more impotent. At that moment there are no specialized prognostic spinal scoring systems for patients with lymphoid tissue tumors. On the basis of the statistical analysis group of 48 patients was defined by possibility of using existing prognostic spinal scoring systems in patients with multiple myeloma and plasmacytoma spinal column lesion

Abstract
Knee joint area is the most inclined in bone tumors development. Diagnostic of tumors is based on the comparing of clinical, visual examinations and morphological data. Surgical treatment of benignant tumors assumes resection of the involved bone region with subsequent replacement of defect by the transplant. Different materials are used for plastics. Choice of the optimal transplant material is one of the actual questions of bone pathology. The effectiveness of one or another adjuvant influence on the bed of removed tumor remains the subject of discussions. Endoprosthetics is a method of choice for the defects replacement after resection of bones, forming knee joint, involved in malignant tumors development. Nevertheless questions, concerning the selection of optimal construction and material for endoprosthetic manufacturing, are still far from the solution. The frequency of postoperative complications remains high, and the treatment of these complications represents the task, which is not less difficult that the previous treatment.

Abstract
Angiosarcomas are one of the rarest forms of soft tissue neoplasms. They make up a small fraction of all vascular tumors, and less than 1% of all sarcomas. Prognosis and treatment depends on the location of the primary tumor. Angiosarcomas can be divided into several clinical subgroups: angiosarcomasnot associated with lymphedema; angiosarcomas associated with lymphedema (so-called lymphangiosarcomas); angiosarcomas of the breast; angiosarcomas of deep soft tissue and radiation-induced angiosarcomas. The main treatment is radical surgery (with histological examination of surgical margins). Postoperative radiotherapy improves overall survival. There are still no recommended standardsof chemotherapy in the treatment of angiosarcomas. Taxane-based chemotherapy is possible. We recommend chemotherapy regime GemTax as 1st-line treatment, which has shown to be effective. The overall efficiency was 38%. Control of tumor growth was equal to 93%. In case of affection of the scalp weekly administration of paclitaxel is possible. In case of organ angiosarcomas a combination of ifosfamide with doxorubicin can be also used.

Abstract
Mutational status of GIST patients plays an important role in clinical practice. Gastrointestinal stromal tumors are the most frequent mesenchymal tumors that are characterized by mutations in tyrosine kinase receptors KIT and PDGFRA. Mutations in KIT and PDGFRA genes determine the sensitivity to therapy with tyrosine kinase inhibitors and are associated with prognosis of GIST patients. Analysis of the mutational status of 52 GIST patients with localized disease treated in N.N. Blokhin RCRC between 2001 and 2007 was conducted. KITmutations were found in 40 patients (76,9%), of which 34 cases (65,5%) exhibited 11 exon, 5 (9,6%) 9 exon and 1 (1,9%) case 13 exon. PDGFRA mutations were detected in 18 exon in 7 (13,5%) patients. WT genotype was found in 5 (9,6%) patients. Deletions in KIT exon 11 were detected in 17 c10 better clinical outcome (5-year survival rate of 100,0% and 75,0%) when compared with deletions in KIT exone 11 and duplications in exon 9 (5-year survival rate of 48,4% and 25,0%). Survival analysis with deletions KIT11 exon showed no significant difference of survival rate in patients with gastric and intestinal stromal tumors.

Abstract
Background. The study is devoted to the research of CRABP1 and CRABP2 mRNA as well as CRABP1 protein expression in human soft tissue sarcomas. Methods. Real time PCR, IHC analysis. Results. Here we for the first time studied the CRABP1 and CRABP2 genes expression by real time PCR in the samples of malignant mesenchymal tumors, including synovial sarcomas, malignant fibrous histiocytomas, malignant schwannomas and liposarcomas. We also analyzed CRABP1 protein level using immunohistochemistry in the samples of monophasic synovial sarcomas. Increase of CRABP1 and CRABP2 mRNA levels was revealed only in the synovial sarcomas and malignant fibrous histiocytomas samples (46% for CRABP1 and 54% for CRABP2). Opposite to synovial sarcomas and malignant fibrous histiocytomas, in the samples of malignant schwannomas and liposarcomas no elevation of CRABP1 or CRABP2 mRNA level was found; moreover, in 40% of these kind of tumors the decrease of CRABP1 mRNA level was observed. Immunohistochemical analysis revealed high level of CRABP1 protein in 100% of monophasic synovial sarcomas. Conclusion. The obtained results pointed on the differential CRABP1, -2 proteins expression in malignant soft tissue tumors depending on the histological type. The presented data open wide perspectives for further studies of CRABP1 as a potential prognostic marker and target for translational therapy of synovial sarcomas.

Abstract
Aim. To assess possible influence of surgical margins on local recurrence rate and survival. Methods. Retrospective analysis of the individual data of 352 patients with primary cutaneous melanoma of the trunk and limbs was performed. 108 patients underwent so-called «wide excision» of the tumor with the average margins from the visible tumor edges of 3,5 cm. In 244 patients more «narrow» excision was performed with average margins 2,0 cm. Results and conclusion. Margins had not any influence on treatment results. The frequency of local recurrence, regional and distant metastases, as well as 5-year survival rates were similar in both groups.

Abstract
The purpose of evaluation was the analysis of experimental data about the using possibilities of the different nanostructures together with local ultrasound, magnetic or laser irradiation for diagnostics and therapy of the malignant tumors. On the developed solid intramuscular tumor models with different histological genesis was shown, that solid-phase inclusions (nanoclasters) in tumor together with local ultrasound leads to the significant increasing of therapeutically efficacy. The experimental evaluation was confirmed that this phenomenon realizes through increase evolution of heat and reducing of cavitations’ threshold and impact on mechanical strength of biological membranes associated with the presence in zone the irradiation of solid inclusions. Discussed the possibility of transport of anticancer drugs using nanoparticles in combination with local ultrasound exposure and improvement of visualization of the lesion by modifying tumor by the solid-phase inclusions. It was shown that improvement of laser diagnostics methods involved with the ferromagnetic nano-contrasters. The possibility to improving of electromagnetic or laser hyperthermia through composed nanostructures on the ground of magnetic nanoparticles with high sensitive to operating influence thin graphite covering was discussed. Obtained effects and the conclusions based on some assumptions suggest that the application of nanotechnology will improve the efficiency of diagnosis and treatment of soft tissue tumors in patients.

Abstract
The major groups of inflammatory diseases of the bones and joints fall into infection and immunologically mediated local and systemic disease. During the infection it is possible to see bone and joint involvement together or separately. In general, immune-based diseases affect the joints first and the adjacent bone as a secondary process. The diagnosis of the inflammatory diseases of the bones and joints requires the synthesis of information. In addition to the classic collaboration of the clinician, radiologist and the pathologist, the diagnosis of inflammatory conditions of bone and joints require serological and microbiological data.
