Education
In 1998, Dr. Polatova graduated from the Tashkent Medical Institute and trained there as a clinical resident from 1998 to 2000. Between 2000 and 2004, Dr. Polatova was a PhD student at the Republican Scientific Center for Oncology.
Professional experience
Dr. Polatova started working at the Republican Scientific Center for Oncology in 2004, first as a senior researcher, then between 2014 and 2017 as a senior researcher at the Division of Tumors of the Musculoskeletal System, where in 2017 she became the leading researcher. Since 2017 she serves as a scientific supervisor of the Division of Tumors of the Musculoskeletal System of the Republican Specialized Scientific-Practical Medical Center of Oncology and Radiology. In 2020, Dr. Polatova became the head of the Department of Oncology and Medical Radiology of the Tashkent State Dental Institute.
Annually Dr. Polatova performs more than 300 high-tech surgeries for treatment of the musculoskeletal system.
Publications
Dr. Polatova has authored more than 150 publications.
She serves as the deputy editor-in-chief of the Clinical and Experimental Oncology journal. She is a member of the editorial board of the Bone and Soft Tissue Sarcomas, Tumors of the Skin journal.

Dr. Polatova is a member of the Association of Directors of Centers and Institutes of Oncology and Radiology CIS and Eurasian Countries, member of the international counsel Fadia Survive & Thrive Association, member of the Union for International Cancer Control and the Advanced Breast Cancer Global Alliance (Kuwait, Egypt), member of ASCO, EMSOS, ESMO, ESSO, member of the International Dermoscopy Society.
