Scientific interests
Dr. Kushlinskiy’s scientific interests include the role of biological tumor markers and molecular and genetic factors in selection of effective methods of treatment of malignant tumors. His most important and representative studies are dedicated to local auto- and paracrine regulators of tumor and endothelial cell growth; proteolytic systems participating in metastases, invasion and neoangiogenesis; apoptosis regulators and criteria of hormonal and drug sensitivity of tumors.

Dr. Kushlinskiy has authored more than 500 scientific reports published in Russian and international press, including monographs “Steroid hormone receptors in human tumors” (1987); “Receptors of sex steroid hormones in bone tumors” (1995); “Prostate cancer” (2002); “Breast cancer” (2005); “Molecular and genetic tumor markers” (2016); “Biological tumor markers: fundamental and clinical studies” (2017).
