Abstract

On the basis of the latest data aneurysmal bone cyst (ABC) is considered as tumor with uncertain histogenesis, affecting young group of patients. In accordance with the analysis of literature ABC can occur as a primary bone tumor (primary ABC) or as a component (secondary ABC) of a giant cell tumor, osteoblastoma, chondroblastoma and osteosarcomas. This article represents only a primary ABC. Radiology diagnostic methods, especially MRI can diagnose ABC with a high accuracy.
