Аcquired melanocytic nevi with the risk of malignancy in children

Abstract

Acquired melanocytic nevi formally belong to the group of benign tumors, but they (Spitz/Reed nevi, dysplastic, combined and blue nevi) require special attention and constant medical supervision due to the high risk of malignancy. Management of acquired nevi with high risk of malignancy depends on the results of clinical and dermatoscopy examination.
